Reed FE are working with a College in Lincolnshire and are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Lecturer in Environmental Science/Chemistry to join our high-performing A Level Curriculum Area at Boston College. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to inspiring students and enhancing their learning experience through innovative teaching methods.

Day-to-day of the role:

Teach across Environmental Science courses in the A level department.
Develop and deliver engaging and informative lessons that captivate students and foster a deep understanding of the subject.
Support and inspire students to reach their full potential through tailored guidance and encouragement.
Participate actively in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the curriculum remains current and effective.
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay updated with the latest educational trends and methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical & Professional Qualifications:
- Degree or A level equivalents in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related subject.
- Level 2 or equivalent in English & Maths.
Experience:
- Although no prior teaching experience is necessary, a good understanding of the A level specifications is desirable.
Skills:
- Ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Ability to work both effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
Knowledge:
- An understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to creating a safe learning environment and demonstrate your suitability to working with children, young people, and adults at risk.
