Reed FE are working with a College in Lincolnshire and are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Lecturer in Environmental Science/Chemistry to join our high-performing A Level Curriculum Area at Boston College. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to inspiring students and enhancing their learning experience through innovative teaching methods.
Day-to-day of the role:- Teach across Environmental Science courses in the A level department.
- Develop and deliver engaging and informative lessons that captivate students and foster a deep understanding of the subject.
- Support and inspire students to reach their full potential through tailored guidance and encouragement.
- Participate actively in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the curriculum remains current and effective.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay updated with the latest educational trends and methodologies.
- Technical & Professional Qualifications:
- Degree or A level equivalents in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related subject.
- Level 2 or equivalent in English & Maths.
- Experience:
- Although no prior teaching experience is necessary, a good understanding of the A level specifications is desirable.
- Skills:
- Ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Ability to work both effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge:
