As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering new HOV programme milestones on time and within budget
- Ensuring engineering adherence to internal processes and aerospace regulations
- Supporting operational excellence and feeding product improvement ideas into the design team
- Designing components and preparing mechanical drawings and 3D models
- Investigating and resolving build issues during production
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your experience will include:
- Experience in manufacturing and design processes, ideally within aerospace
- Working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD systems and MS Office
- Understanding of composite and metallic materials and their manufacturing processes
- Strong communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
- A background in apprenticeship schemes or equivalent vocational training
- Previous contributions to programme completions and use of PLM systems
