- Design, develop and implement innovative training documentation, including (but not limited to): Formal Training Statements; Development of the Individual and collective training objectives; Development of Enabling Objectives; Development of KLPs; Production of Assessment Strategy/Specification; Selection of Methods and Media; Development of LScalar and LSpecs.
- Ensure that all training materials are compliant with the Defence Direction and Guidance for Training and Education.
- To deliver instructor-led training sessions, to validate the effectiveness of the developed training.
- Must hold experience within a similar Training and Development Specialist role, within the Defence sector.
- Hold, or be willing to work towards, the Defence Instructional Techniques (DCTS) - or hold equivalent qualification.
- Experience of CIS (Communications and Information Systems) engineering principles.
- Must possess the ability to instruct Phase 3 trainees in CIS.
- Must be able to operate, configure and maintain a range of CIS equipment.
- Must hold a minimum of 5 years' experience within a curriculum development role, with experience of creating engaging and innovative content,.
- Must possess a sound knowledge of Engineering qualifications and Apprenticeships,
- Must have experience of coaching, mentoring and supporting colleagues.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders.
