Job Title: SEN/SEMH Teacher
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Salary: £30,000 - £43,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN/SEMH Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive specialist school in Bournemouth. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher with a strong understanding of SEN and a desire to support students in overcoming barriers to learning.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver tailored, creative, and engaging lessons to small groups of pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Develop and adapt learning materials to support individual education plans (IEP's and EHCP's)
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Patience, empathy and resilience.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
What Prospero would love from you:
- Additional training in Team Teach, or other SEMH-specific interventions.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with children with SEN and/or SEMH needs
- Excellent behaviour management strategies
