Our client is looking for a Finance Support Accountant to provide additional support to their finance team during a period of process improvements. This is a hands-on role that will involve a range of tasks, including reconciliation and matching of historical data, process standardisation, and assistance with day-to-day payment approvals.
Key ResponsibilitiesReconcile and match historical financial data across multiple systemsOrganise and structure financial records to support standardisationAssist with streamlining and improving finance processesSupport daily payment approval workflowsWork confidently with large datasets, ensuring accuracy and integrityPerson Specification / Experience RequiredDemonstrable experience in a finance departmentStrong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping (essential)Confident in working with multiple trial balances (TBs)Advanced Excel skills; comfortable handling large volumes of dataExperience using Sage X3 is an advantageStrong attention to detail, particularly when completing repetitive tasksAccounting qualifications desirable or equivalent experience
