Overview:
Our client is seeking a professional and proactive Customer Services Representative to join their growing customer service team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will handle a variety of customer-facing tasks and support key service processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, regulated envirnment.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls
Process inbound and outbound post and email communications in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure all correspondence is managed in line with company policies and regulatory standards
Accurately update customer accounts and records using internal systems
Respond to customer queries, requests, and complaints, ensuring they are dealt with professionally and fairly
Complete all required training within set deadlines
Adhere to the principles of Treating Customers Fairly at all times
Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, Data Protection laws, and Anti-Money Laundering requirements
Support ad hoc duties and tasks as requested by the manager or team leader
Take ownership of personal development and support team success
Person Specification:
Clear, confident telephone manner with excellent communication skills
Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally within financial services
Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise workload
Flexible, intuitive, and a strong team player
Ability to pass full referencing and a credit check
Competent IT skills, including familiarity with CRM and internal systems
