I am recruiting for a Data Platform Engineer to be based 2 days a week in Bracknell, remaining time remote.

The role falls inside IR35 so you will be required to work through an umbrella company.

You must have several years experience in data platform engineering.

You will have Cloud expertise including AWS - RDS, Redshift, DMS & Lambda, OCI Cloud data services and Infrastructure-as-Code - Terraform, & AWS CloudFormation.

You will also have experience of Replication & Streaming including IBM CDC replication technologies, Confluent Kafka & IBM Voltage encryption.

NoSQL expertise to include strong skills in Couchbase cluster management, Version upgrades, security patching & performance tuning and high availability via node scaling and rebalancing.

Experience of programming & automation including Python & Shell scripting and Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.

You must have experience of Linux/Unix environments, networking protocols and ownership of production systems.
