Pioneer Talent are working witha client to search for a clinically qualified Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in leading a beautiful, purpose-built care home in Berkshire that is on an exciting improvement journey.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with your fellow Deputy Manager in a 2-week rolling rota to provide full 7-day clinical and operational leadership.

  • Support and supervise the nursing and care teams, ensuring high standards of care planning, medication management, and clinical governance.

  • Actively contribute to the home’s continuous improvement plan, embedding best practice and supporting staff development.

  • Be a visible, hands-on leader who builds positive relationships with residents, families, and the wider team.

About You:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC pin essential) – RMN or RGN with strong clinical expertise.

  • Proven leadership experience in a nursing home or similar complex care environment.

  • Excellent knowledge of dementia care, complex elderly needs, and person-centred care planning.

  • Confident in medication management, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
