The Role:We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team on a high-profile commercial static site in Bracknell. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining landlord services, managing building systems, and ensuring all compliance and documentation is kept up to date.Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across landlord and building systems
- Maintain and fault-find on a range of plant equipment, including:
- LV electrical distribution systems
- AHUs and FCUs
- Pumps, motors, and valves
- Emergency lighting and fire alarm systems
- UPS and generator systems
- Basic plumbing and HVAC equipment
- Monitor and update site logbooks, ensuring all records are accurate and compliant
- Manage and coordinate specialist contractors for service visits and remedial works
- Support statutory compliance and ensure all work is carried out to H&S standards
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (1 in 4/5 weeks) with a £100 standby fee
- Work closely with the client to maintain a high standard of building services
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven background in commercial building maintenance
- Experience working with a range of mechanical and electrical plant systems
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a site
Package Includes:
- £42,000 base salary
- £100 standby payment (1 in 4/5 call-out rota)
