Description
- Manage financial planning and analysis for the business unit.
- Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance by measuring and analysing results.
- Coordinate with other department managers to review financial information and trends.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and address any issues raised.
- Support the continuous improvement of internal controls.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience within a finance function in a retail environment would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Confident individual, who can cooperate with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Knowledge of accounting software and financial modelling.
Job Offer
- A salary range of £50,000 - £55,000 (GBP) per annum.
