Savant is supporting a PE-backed organisation in its search for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join on an interim basis during a period of transition and change.

The Role

As the Senior Finance Manager, you will lead a finance team of five and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will manage key aspects of financial control, including monthly and annual reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and commission calculations.

You will also play a vital role in enhancing financial processes and aligning procedures with Group-wide standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the finance team and day-to-day operations

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles

  • Oversee cashflow forecasting and funding requirements

  • Support the calculation of commissions and payroll-related inputs

  • Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and processes

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards

  • Liaise with senior leadership and stakeholders across the group

About You

You are a confident, hands-on finance leader with strong technical capabilities and a collaborative approach to team management and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CA, or CIMA)

  • Proven experience managing and motivating finance teams

  • Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
