Marks Sattin are recruiting for a growing international business based in Cleckheaton, looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their finance team!If you're part-qualified and ready to take the next step in your career, this role offers the chance to work across international operations, gain exposure to a wide range of finance activities, and receive full support towards your CIMA or ACCA qualification.Salary: CompetitiveLocation: Cleckheaton (Hybrid working available)Study Support: CIMA/ACCAWhat You'll Be DoingYou'll be working closely with the Finance Manager and wider team to support financial reporting and compliance across the international business. Expect a varied role including:
- Month-end journals, reconciliations, and VAT returns
- Intercompany accounting and audit support
- Payroll accounting and general ledger work
- Supporting internal controls and process improvements
- Getting involved in projects and helping drive efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) or actively studying
- Strong Excel skills and ideally experience with SAP!
- A proactive mindset and keen attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
