Assistant Accountant - Ripponden | £27,000-£30,000 + Study Support
Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing business based in the Ripponden / Sowerby area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some accounts experience who's ready to take the next step, gain broad exposure across the finance function, and benefit from ongoing training and progression.
The Role:This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll gain experience across key areas of finance, including:
- Purchase ledger and sales ledger processing
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with monthly management accounts
- Supporting wider finance tasks and projects
You'll be joining a supportive team and working closely with experienced finance professionals who will help you develop your skills and progress in your career.
What We're Looking For:- Some experience in accounts or finance (e.g. Accounts Payable, finance admin)
- Strong IT skills, especially Excel
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A quick learner with a proactive attitude
- A genuine interest in building a career in accountancy
