I am seeking a talented and driven Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a busy hotel just outside Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Head Chef or a skilled Senior Sous Chef ready to take the next step in their career.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards of food, service, and hygiene. You will work closely with the management team to develop menus, manage costs, and lead a motivated team of chefs and kitchen staff.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver excellent food consistently.
Create, cost, and deliver seasonal menus that reflect the hotels standards and clientele.
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including ordering, stock control, and scheduling.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health, and safety in line with regulations.
Manage budgets, GP, and wastage while maximising efficiency.
Train, develop, and mentor junior chefs.
Support smooth running of hotel functions, events, and restaurant service.
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a hotel environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency across multiple services.
