We are looking for a motivated Pricing Manager to join a market leading food manufacturer in Bradford. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies that support business growth. Role Description
- Develop and implement pricing models and strategies across all product lines and channels (retail, foodservice, wholesale).
- Analyse cost structures, market trends, and competitor pricing to inform pricing decisions.
- Collaborate closely with sales, finance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure prices are aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct regular pricing reviews and margin analysis to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
- Provide insight into customer profitability, recommending pricing actions to support margin and volume objectives.
- Lead pricing proposals for tenders, customer negotiations, and new product launches.
- Ensure pricing structures are accurately maintained within ERP and commercial systems.
- Monitor and report on pricing performance, highlighting risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate pricing and margin input.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a pricing, commercial finance, or business analysis role.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, SAP, NetSuite).
- Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of margin management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience in dealing with major retailers or foodservice clients is highly desirable.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
