Customer Service Advisor - Telephone-Based
Location: BD6, Bradford
Hours: Full-time - 8-hour shifts between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate / October
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We're working with a well-established organisation in the BD6 area of Bradford that's looking for a confident, switched-on Customer Service Advisor to join their busy contact team. Existing call centre experience is desirable but not compulsory - attitude and personality is more important.

If you're great on the phone, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in providing excellent customer care - this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Please note: This is a full-time, ongoing position and not suitable for short-term or stop-gap applicants.



About the Role

As a key member of the customer service team, you'll deliver exceptional service over the phone - handling a range of enquiries with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care. You'll work as part of a supportive, friendly team that values strong communication, teamwork, and getting things right the first time.



Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming customer calls confidently and courteously

  • Accurately record and update customer information using internal systems

  • Provide clear, concise information and resolve queries quickly

  • Manage your workload effectively to meet response targets

  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth customer journeys



What We're Looking For

  • A confident communicator with a clear, friendly telephone manner

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong time management and organisational ability

  • Great attention to detail and accuracy

  • IT literate - comfortable using computer systems and databases

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or contact centre environment

  • Familiarity with CRM systems or similar software
