What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Child Care (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting young people with social, emotional or behavioural needs
  • At least 1 year’s experience leading shifts
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Ability to work occasional shifts/sleep-ins

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager in day-to-day operations
  • Ensure high-quality, individualised care for young people
  • Safeguard and support young people, acting as a positive role model
  • Lead and supervise staff, including supervisions and appraisals
  • Plan and oversee shifts and ensure safe risk management
  • Work directly with young people to help them achieve positive outcomes
  • Maintain accurate reports and documentation
  • Create and review care plans, risk assessments and behaviour plans
