Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)

Full-time Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm + on call
£36,000 - £40,000

What We’re Looking For
- Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Child Care (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting young people with social, emotional or behavioural needs
- At least 1 year’s experience leading shifts
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Ability to work occasional shifts/sleep-ins
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in day-to-day operations
- Ensure high-quality, individualised care for young people
- Safeguard and support young people, acting as a positive role model
- Lead and supervise staff, including supervisions and appraisals
- Plan and oversee shifts and ensure safe risk management
- Work directly with young people to help them achieve positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate reports and documentation
- Create and review care plans, risk assessments and behaviour plans
