Our client is seeking a motivated and compassionate Administrator to join a specialist service supporting children and families affected by complex trauma. The service provides therapeutic interventions and support in a sensitive and trauma-informed manner. The role plays a vital part in ensuring timely referral processing, accurate record-keeping, and effective communication with families and professionals. 

Key Responsibilities:•    Process and manage referrals, capturing accurate information on internal systems•    Liaise with referrers to gather additional information and occasionally take phone referrals from vulnerable service users•    Provide advice on referral criteria and signpost to other relevant services where appropriate•    Update and maintain case management and Excel tracking systems•    Support the service inbox, triaging and managing incoming requests•    Make informed decisions about referral suitability in liaison with the clinical lead•    Raise any safeguarding or mental health concerns with appropriate managers•    Minute meetings and provide general administrative support to the team

Requirements:•    Previous experience in a social care, education, or health setting is highly desirable•    Knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures•    Excellent IT and administrative skills with strong attention to detail•    Empathy and sensitivity when communicating with vulnerable service users and professionals•    Ability to work independently, manage workload and prioritise effectively•    DBS issued within the last 12 months or registered on the update service would be advantageous
