Description

Reporting directly in to the Plant Manager with a dotted line into the European CI & Quality Director, the Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager will lead on driving all things lean, challenging processes, systems and behaviours in pursuit of world class manufacturing:

The day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage the site Quality team to ensure consistent and high quality of BRC (currently AA)
  • Lead and manage the development of the plant continuous improvement plan in collaboration with the leadership team, then ensure timely implementation
  • Drive a proactive approach to availability and efficiency working closely with Engineering and Production teams
  • Work closely with commercial teams and customers on NPI and developing existing products
  • Develop a data led and analytical approach to site manufacturing

Profile

The successful Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager will possess a range of the following:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering or Technical field
  • Strong background in CI with relevant qualifications (ideally to Six Sigma Green Belt level)
  • Analaytical and data led, familiar with SPC
  • Experience working in a BRC (or similar) regulated environment
  • The ability to challenge processes and behaviours
  • The ambition to progress as part of a global FMCG manufacturer
