Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to take charge of a small team of two engineers on a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead from the front, drive performance and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the factory.75:25 hands-on to office based/admin.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support a team of two multi-skilled engineers ensuring tasks are prioritised and completed efficiently
- Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of production and packaging equipment
- Identify and implement improvements to reduce downtime and enhance reliability
- Order parts and manage engineering stock levels
- Produce accurate maintenance and performance reports
- Attend regular engineering and production meetings
- Manage and coordinate external contractors working on site
- Mentor apprentices

Skills & Experience:

- Time-served or qualified multi-skilled engineer (electrical)
- Previous experience in a food or beverage factory
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience within an engineering setting
- Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and people management abilities
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and reliability
