Reed is recruiting on behalf of a family run roofing contractor with a proud history of delivering high-quality work across a range of sectors including care homes, heritage buildings, pub refurbishments, and small-scale new builds.

Role Overview

They are seeking an ambitious and proactive individual to join our team as a Junior Contracts & Estimating Administrator. This role is ideal for someone with strong numerical and people skills who is looking to grow within a supportive, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate quotes and tenders for roofing projects.
  • Acknowledge and respond to email enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate pre-start meetings with clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the Contracts Manager and Site Manager to call off stock and materials.
  • Produce and manage purchase orders for site requirements.
  • Develop and maintain job costing systems to track project profitability.
  • Ensure timely delivery of O&M manuals, guarantees, and maintenance documentation.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Support the management of care home refurbishments, heritage projects, and new builds.

  • Highly organised and proactive in managing multiple tasks.
