Our client is a well-established company specializing in ducting solutions within the HVAC industry. They are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their team in Bradford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products, specifically ductwork and fittings.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate metalworking machinery, including shears, brakes, and plasma cutters.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure proper dimensions and fit.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sheet metal worker, preferably in ducting or HVAC.
- Proficient in using hand tools and machinery related to sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
