Required Skills for the Complex Care Assistant:
- Experience in complex care
- Epilepsy management knowledge
- Ability to administer rescue medications
- Familiarity with peg feeding, nebulizers, and suctioning
- Team player with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Nice to Have Skills for the Complex Care Assistant:
- Previous experience in issue rescue medication procedures
- Familiarity with vent and oxygen support
Preferred Education and Experience for the Complex Care Assistant:
- Prior experience in a similar care role
- Relevant certifications in care or healthcare
- Proven track record of providing high-quality care to individuals with complex needs
Other Requirements for Complex Care Assistant:
- Availability for night shifts (4 caregivers needed)
- working 36 hours per week with a 2-week rolling rota
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively
