Your Company:An excellent opportunity has become available within a manufacturing business, who are searching for an Driver/Installer to join their team in the Bradford area. The organisation has decades of experience within their sector, and cover both the sale and rental market for their manufacturing products, enabling them to have coverage across the sector and build a dynamic customer base with varying needs. This position will hold a key place in the company to customer process, ensuring that equipment is fit for use, meets customer needs and is directed to the place it needs to be, in order to be installed and implemented at customer sites across the country. As a company that prides itself on not only the customer service they provide, but also the quality of the products sold or rented, this role is vital to ensuring this same quality is adhered to at all times. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a motivated warehouse operative or forklift driver looking for an opportunity to progress their career forwards and to gain valuable knowledge and experience of the manufacturing industry from within a leading and highly successful business.Your Role and Responsibilities:While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Preparing ancillary equipment to meet specific orders
  • Ensuring equipment is prepared for the rental fleet
  • Cleaning and repairing of returned rental equipment where required and testing to ensure it's in working order
  • Delivering rental items to customer locations
  • Assisting the Service Technician with installing rental equipment
  • Working as directed by the warehouse manager to pack, ship, load or receive items when needed
  • Ensuring that repairs are brought to the attention of the relevant party
  • Delivering and collecting service items and parts
What you will need to Apply:For this technical role, applicants must have good knowledge of Health and Safety within a production environment and have worked within a similar role in the past. It would be highly advantageous for the candidate to have a Forklift license and you MUST possess a regular driving license as well. This role will also require elements of heavy lifting and therefore applicants will need to be able to safely do this, with training provided.
