A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial and management accounting support across a range of services.

  • Prepare revenue budgets, monitor financial performance, forecast outcomes, and support the closure of accounts.

  • Deliver expert financial advice to service managers on procedures, systems, and implications of key decisions.

  • Partner with service teams on financial investigations, analysis, and projects to ensure efficient resource use.

  • Support external funding applications and contribute to business cases.

  • Proactively challenge existing budget assumptions to drive improvements.

  • Promote a culture of financial accountability and value for money through evidence-based reporting and benchmarking.

  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of statutory financial returns and corporate reporting obligations.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner role.

  • Ideally has a background in the public sector or similar complex environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in financial modelling and Microsoft Office applications.
