Position of SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).

The Role: As an SENCo, you will lead and manage special educational needs provision across the trust, working alongside a skilled and supportive team. You will be responsible for ensuring that students with SEN receive tailored support that helps them thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the provision for students with special educational needs
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure high-quality support for students
  • Monitor and assess the progress of students with SEN
  • Provide advice and training to staff on best practices for supporting SEN students
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure that students receive appropriate support
  • Champion a culture of inclusion and high expectations for all students
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Educated to degree level (required)
  • Proven track record of leading improvement in SEN provision
  • Passionate about raising aspirations and improving educational outcomes for students with SEN
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
