Warranty Engineer - Fixed Term Contract

Alecto Recruitment is partnering with a leading company within the power generation sector that specialises in Waste to Energy facilities around the world. Our client is looking for an experienced Engineering professional who will represent our client during the warranty phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-site representative for our client, overseeing all warranty and defect resolution activities.
  • Coordinate the efforts of contractors, technical specialists, and client teams to ensure smooth restoration and ongoing operation of the plant.
  • Investigate root causes of defects, implement effective corrective measures, and work to reduce warranty-related costs and risks.
  • Support the preparation and management of claims, including cost recovery from subcontractors and project partners.
  • Maintain precise operational documentation and deliver clear, timely reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Uphold full compliance with HSE standards and actively contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in plant operations, construction, or commissioning environments.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and organisational abilities with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and partners.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Self-driven, ethical, and proactive team player committed to high performance and accountability.
