Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Braintree Town Centre.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in recruitment. You’ll be working in our busy Industrial temp division, supporting clients and candidates across Essex and beyond.

Full training will be provided. We’re more interested in your attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn than previous recruitment experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Speak with clients to take bookings and understand their staffing needs

• Source and register temporary candidates for industrial roles

• Match candidates to bookings and confirm shifts

• Keep accurate records in our CRM system whilst ensuring compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation

• Check in with workers to ensure smooth assignments

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with both clients and candidates

• Provide excellent customer service and represent our business professionally

Experience, education & qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service, admin, or sales role is an advantage but not essential

• Confident communicator, both on the phone and in person

• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn

• Ideally have a full UK driving license, though not essential

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm

Salary: Up to £25,000 depending on experience, plus commission once passed probation

Benefits: Birthday off, additional time off for our Christmas shutdown (doesn’t come out of your annual leave), regular team outings and events
