Job Title: Handyman / Maintenance Operative
Location: West London
Salary: £28-32k per annum (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and proactive Handyman to join the team at a high-end residential development in West London. You will play a key role in ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards, delivering exceptional service to residents and supporting the wider estate team.

Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the development, including plumbing, carpentry, painting/decorating, basic electrics, and general DIY tasks
Ensure communal areas, resident amenities, and building exteriors are kept in excellent condition
Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Assist with minor refurbishments, installations, and improvement projects
Liaise with external contractors when required and oversee quality of works
Carry out regular inspections and routine preventative maintenance
Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and report any issues to the management team
Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed and hazards are reported
Proven experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role, ideally within residential or hospitality sectors
Good working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, and basic electrics
Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, can-do attitude
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Excellent customer service skills and a professional approach
Basic IT skills for logging jobs and communicating with the team
A proactive, responsible, and flexible mindset
Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ)
Health & Safety training (e.g. COSHH, Manual Handling, First Aid)
Experience working in a luxury or high-end residential environment
