Are you an experienced and adaptable Cover Supervisor who can keep students engaged across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)?

Have you had experience teaching secondary students in the UK?

Can you maintain a positive and productive learning environment, even during unexpected situations?

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the classroom and ensure all materials are ready for lessons.
  • Supervise students during break or lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist students with their tasks and help them stay focused on their learning activities.
  • Effectively manage student behaviour and ensure a well-disciplined classroom environment.
  • Offer support to students who have questions or encounter challenges during lessons.
  • Follow School safety procedures and ensure a secure learning environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children in UK Schools.
  • Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Two professional references from your most recent employment.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to deliver good behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
