Are you a fully qualified Science Teacher with either QTS or QTLS accreditation?

Do you have any experience teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students?

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with national curriculum expectations
  • Inspire students through practical and engaging Science teaching
  • Track student progress and implement strategies to support individual learning
  • Participate in department planning, CPD sessions, and whole-school events
  • Support enrichment activities, such as Science clubs or STEM initiatives

Requirements

  • Must hold PGCE/QTS/QTLS
  • Prior secondary School teaching experience is essential
  • Strong knowledge in one or more branches of Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
  • Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management
  • Organisational and time-management skills
  • Must provide two professional references from your recent employment history
  • Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Contribute to a positive School culture, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in School events or initiatives
