Responsibilities
  • Design and implement compelling English lessons that adhere to curriculum standards and stimulate student's interest in literature and language.

  • Team up with staff and get involved in school initiatives aimed at enhancing student education.
  • Evaluate students regularly and offer feedback to encourage success.
  • Get involved in English-focused clubs, plays, and writing competitions.
Requirements
  • An English teaching qualification, either PGCE or QTS, is required.
  • Extensive expertise in English language, literature, and pedagogical techniques.
  • Previous experience working with Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
  • A current Enhanced DBS certificate issued in the UK is required.
  • Please provide two up-to-date references from recent classroom roles.
  • Experience in leveraging digital platforms to boost student engagement and success.
