  • Ideally hold a Level 3 Teaching Qualification OR an Assessors Award – if you do not hold either, you must be able to demonstrate extensive experience of internal training within your role and be willing to work towards a Teaching/Training qualifications provided by our client.
  • Must hold a minimum of NVQ level 2 (or equiv/higher) in Horticulture.
  • Experience of delivering training in a workshop / group-based setting - or providing on-the-job training within the workplace.
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Duties:
  • Teach/assess learners in a classroom based setting, who are working towards a vocational qualification within Horticulture.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
  • Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
  • Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
  • Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
