Reed HR are excited to be searching for a HR Advisor on behalf of a leading manufacturer based in Bridgend! Join a dynamic and expanding HR team during a period of significant growth. In this fantastic role, you'll support all aspects of HR and contribute to the seamless operation of the HR department.

What you'll be doing:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries within assigned business areas.
  • Advise managers on a range of employee-related issues including performance, capability, absence management, conduct, and restructuring.
  • Provide guidance and support for disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring compliance with HR policies and attending hearings as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate master data across all HR systems.
  • Offer technical support on HR systems such as Workday, Time & Attendance, and electronic payslip portals.
  • Assist with HR administration tasks including system maintenance, processing employee leavers, and managing sickness absences.
  • Support the Recruitment Specialist with recruitment administration, including preparing offers and contracts for new starters and managing the onboarding process.
  • Ensure new starter information is accurately added to HR systems and communicate updates to relevant colleagues.

What you'll need:

  • Proactive approach with a keen eye for detail and a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of employee legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all levels.
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HR systems.
