We are seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Housing Solutions Adviser to join our busy team for a two-month temporary assignment.

About the Role:

Our Housing Department is experiencing a high volume of demand, and we need your expertise to help us make a real difference in the lives of our residents. In this critical role, you will:

  • Provide Comprehensive Housing Support: Assess, investigate, and verify the housing, social, support, and medical needs of applicants, ensuring they receive appropriate guidance and assistance.
  • Prevent Homelessness: Interview and advise individuals facing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, working diligently to find suitable housing solutions and prevent displacement.
  • Collaborate with Partners: Liaise with other agencies, housing support providers, and landlords to coordinate support services and maximize positive outcomes for our clients.
  • Empower Clients: Develop creative solutions to address complex housing issues, helping clients access resources and navigate the housing system.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of client interactions, needs assessments, advice provided, and outcomes achieved.

Essential Requirements:

  • A-level standard education or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of housing policy, procedures, and best practices related to housing needs and homelessness.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of people, including vulnerable individuals with complex needs.

* Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

* Valid UK driving licence.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour.
  • Full-time Hours: Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week.
