We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Legal Secretary within a highly reputable property team to join our clients team on a 3-month temporary basis. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to multiple fee earners, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities of a Legal Secretary:
- Transcribing legal documents from dictation with speed, accuracy, and complete confidentiality, ensuring all materials are prepared in line with firm standards
- Producing, formatting, and amending legal and administrating documents to a consistently high standard, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a strong grasp of legal terminology
- Preparing and submitting search applications and managing all aspects of Land Registry processes, ensuring deadlines are met and procedures are followed correctly
- Managing client communications by phone and email, delivering a professional, friendly, and responsive service to maintain strong client relationships
- Coordinating and managing busy diaries, including scheduling client meetings, organising travel arrangements, and securing accommodation when required
- Supporting business development initiatives, assisting with marketing activities, events, and other projects that contribute to the growth of the firm
- Maintaining efficient file management systems, including opening and closing files, carrying out compliance checks, and keeping the document management system accurate and up to date
- Assisting with financial administration, including the preparation of bills, processing invoices, and supporting the accounts team with routine tasks
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a secretarial or administrative role within the legal sector
- Proactive and resourceful - able to anticipate needs and take initiative without waiting for direction
- Excellent communication skills - confidently liaising with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail - capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
