We are working with a highly reputable law firm in Birmingham who are seeking an Intellectual Property Paralegal to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
What experience will you need? For this role, you will need previous experience working as a trade mark / patent paralegal - ideally you will have at least a years’ experience. A CITMA or CIPA qualification would be looked upon favourably. However, this might not be essential if you have a wealth of experience within trade mark and patent support. Additionally, you should be a highly organised individual who is able to effectively meet deadlines.
Duties:
- Preparing and filing patent, trade mark, and design applications.
- Managing IP portfolios.
- Communicating with clients, answering queries, providing case updates etc.
- Dealing with IP office communications.
This is a great role for a candidate who would like to deal with a wide case load, dealing with both patent & trade mark formalities.
Dawn Ellmore Employment aims to respond to all applicants, however due to the number of applications received this is regrettably not always possible. If you have not received a response within three working days, you may assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.
