We are working with a highly reputable law firm in Birmingham who are seeking an Intellectual Property Paralegal to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

What experience will you need? For this role, you will need previous experience working as a trade mark / patent paralegal - ideally you will have at least a years’ experience. A CITMA or CIPA qualification would be looked upon favourably. However, this might not be essential if you have a wealth of experience within trade mark and patent support. Additionally, you should be a highly organised individual who is able to effectively meet deadlines.

Duties:

  • Preparing and filing patent, trade mark, and design applications.
  • Managing IP portfolios.
  • Communicating with clients, answering queries, providing case updates etc.
  • Dealing with IP office communications.

This is a great role for a candidate who would like to deal with a wide case load, dealing with both patent & trade mark formalities.
