Duties of the Scheme Manager role will include, but is not limited to:
- Providing intensive housing management service at scheme and Residents / Tenants / Customers living within sheltered housing environment
- Facilitating residents on site
- Monitoring the performance of contractors
- Assisting customers to pay bills
- Providing onsite management and supervision of sheltered housing schemes with regard to security, health and safety & maintenance, ensuring that communal areas and scheme office are kept clean, tidy and free from hazards.
- Carrying out statutory and cyclic H&S checks
- Undertaking pre tenancy interviews and accompanied viewings, assessment of housing needs and sign ups to ensure sustainability of tenure for the applicant.
- Managing low-level ASB working in conjunction with Housing and Neighbourhood and ASB officers.
- Minimising arrears, ensuring that the process is understood and agreements for repayment of any debt are made.
The successful Scheme Manager candidate will have:
- Relevant Supported Housing experience
- Hold an Enhanced DBS
- Driving license
