Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Planning and delivering engaging, innovative, and inclusive lessons
  • Encouraging students to explore a range of artistic media and techniques
  • Supporting students in developing their creative expression and portfolio work
  • Contributing to extracurricular activities such as exhibitions and art clubs
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues in a supportive and dynamic department

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • A relevant degree in Art or a related subject
  • Previous experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school setting
  • A passion for the visual arts and for inspiring creativity in young people
  • Strong classroom management skills and a positive approach to learning
  • Commitment to high standards and continuous professional development
