The Role:
- Position: Art Teacher
- Start Date: September 2025
- Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Location: Sandwell
- Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Planning and delivering engaging, innovative, and inclusive lessons
- Encouraging students to explore a range of artistic media and techniques
- Supporting students in developing their creative expression and portfolio work
- Contributing to extracurricular activities such as exhibitions and art clubs
- Working collaboratively with colleagues in a supportive and dynamic department
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- A relevant degree in Art or a related subject
- Previous experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school setting
- A passion for the visual arts and for inspiring creativity in young people
- Strong classroom management skills and a positive approach to learning
- Commitment to high standards and continuous professional development
