Your new role

A Key Stage 1 (KS1) General Teaching Assistant (TA) supports teachers in a primary school, focusing on students aged 5-7 years old. They work under the guidance of teachers, providing learning support to individual students or small groups, and helping to prepare the classroom for lessons. This role is full-time.

Work Pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Friday-8.45am-3.30pm. Wednesday & Thursday-8.45am-12.30pm.Requirements to succeed in your new role

  • Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable
  • Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
  • Previous experience with children with SEND needs is desirable.
  • A DBS on the update service is required (this can be applied for with Hays).
