My client a successful manufacturing company based in Bridgwater, Somerset is looking to recruit a permanent maintenance engineer / time served multi-skilled engineer (Mechanical ) from a manufacturing or packaging background to work permanent Nights. Working as part of a small engineering team this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide array of Process, Converting and Packaging equipment in the heart of Somerset. You will be working for a stable company that has had increased business in the last few months
Duties will include:
·Day to day fault finding on all production lines, both mechanical and electrical equipment.
·The ability to read both mechanical and electrical drawings
·Carry out scheduled maintenance on production lines.
Person Specification - The successful Maintenance Engineer must:
·A time-served Multi Skilled Engineer
·Have experience in working in a FMCG type environment
·Ideally have pneumatic knowledge
·A self-motivated person with a manner to help out, where required
Benefits:
Salary is £43,000 - £47,000 - Other benefits include free parking, pension, canteen facilities, 20 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday, modern facilities. This role is commutable from Wells, Shepton Mallet, Yeovil, Taunton, Weston - Super - mare and may suit a candidate that has previously worked as a Mechanical engineer, Production engineer, MS engineer, Fitter.
