My client is a fast-paced manufacturing leader seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead high-performing teams, drive lean improvements, and ensure top-quality, safe, and efficient operations on a 24/7 shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire production teams to deliver high performance and a positive shopfloor culture.
- Manage daily operations to meet output, quality, safety, and compliance targets.
- Ensure effective resource planning and execution of the production schedule.
- Maintain shift records and lead performance reviews with clear improvement actions.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure environmental and GMP compliance.
- Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and HSE to achieve operational goals.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and embed lean manufacturing practices.
- Oversee smooth product changeovers and minimise downtime.
- Take responsibility for site standards and facility condition during shifts.
Key Skills
- Proven leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and team development abilities.
- Hands-on operational management with a focus on results.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP, health & safety, and quality systems.
- Skilled in lean principles, waste reduction, and driving efficiency.
- Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexible, resilient, and comfortable working on a 24/7 shift pattern.
- Track record of delivering on production, cost, and performance KPIs.
