Rate: 135 per day

About the Role

We're looking for a Business Administrator to join the CommOps team at Hinkley Point C (HPC), supporting the smooth and efficient running of operations within the Performance Improvement Programme.

You'll play a key role in providing professional, high-quality administrative support across a range of activities including planning, finance, meeting coordination and data management. You'll also help with the day-to-day running of the Training Centre and act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment and enjoys working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full administrative support to the CommOps and Pre-Operations teams.
  • Organise and coordinate meetings, travel, accommodation and hospitality.
  • Manage diaries, prepare meeting packs, take minutes and ensure actions are followed up.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring information is easily accessible.
  • Respond to internal and external queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Support the running of the Training Centre, including reception cover as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements.

About You

Essential skills and experience:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident working independently and taking initiative.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Professional, discreet and able to handle confidential information.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a team support or business administration role.
  • Knowledge of business processes or systems within a large organisation.
