Business Administrator
Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, TA6 4F
Rate: 135 per day
About the Role
We're looking for a Business Administrator to join the CommOps team at Hinkley Point C (HPC), supporting the smooth and efficient running of operations within the Performance Improvement Programme.
You'll play a key role in providing professional, high-quality administrative support across a range of activities including planning, finance, meeting coordination and data management. You'll also help with the day-to-day running of the Training Centre and act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment and enjoys working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full administrative support to the CommOps and Pre-Operations teams.
- Organise and coordinate meetings, travel, accommodation and hospitality.
- Manage diaries, prepare meeting packs, take minutes and ensure actions are followed up.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring information is easily accessible.
- Respond to internal and external queries professionally and efficiently.
- Support the running of the Training Centre, including reception cover as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements.
About You
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident working independently and taking initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Professional, discreet and able to handle confidential information.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a team support or business administration role.
- Knowledge of business processes or systems within a large organisation.
