Reed Sales & Marketing are incredibly excited to be representing a nationally established Gas & Chemical supplier in their search for a Commercial Manager!
Based in East Yorkshire, this is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially minded individual to take on a critical position within a successful and growing business. This role is all about improving efficiency, planning strategically and delivering organic growth both internally and externally.
This role will have a specific focus on the supply-chain department, so any experience within this industry will also be a strong positive for this role.

- Basic Wage: £38,000 (up to £43,000 after probationary period)

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for commercial growth, product development and internal efficiencies.
- Work with and support the sales, marketing and supply chain departments
- Negotiate and manage supplier and customer agreements
- Support budgeting, forecasting and profitability
- Track KPIs for each department and present commercial performance to the Commercial Director
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Key Requirements:
- Solid experience in a commercial and supply chain environment (ideally 5+ years)
- Comfortable analysing and negotiating commercial contracts
- Familiar with CRM and project management software
- Comfortable with data management (Excel, Power BI)
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running
- Problem-solving mindset and results driven approach
- Resilience under pressure essential
- Experience in relationship management and have the ability to lead and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Any experience with contract law would be highly beneficial
