We are working with a thriving environmental consultancy who are looking to welcome a motivated Air Quality Consultant to their team in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 1-2 years of experience in air quality, emissions assessment, or environmental compliance who is ready to take the next step in their career and continue developing in a collaborative, supportive environment.

As an Air Quality Consultant, you will contribute to a diverse range of projects across infrastructure, transport, and urban development. You'll work alongside experienced consultants, gaining hands-on experience while building your technical capability and project delivery skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake air quality and emissions assessments to support planning applications and regulatory compliance

  • Use dispersion modelling software (e.g., ADMS, AERMOD)

  • Produce high-quality technical reports for clients and planning authorities

  • Assist with data collection, air quality monitoring, and analysis

  • Support senior team members with client communication and project coordination



About You

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Chemistry or similar discipline

  • 1-2 years' experience in air quality/environmental consultancy

  • Knowledge of IAQM/EPUK guidance and air dispersion modelling tools

  • Excellent written communication and data analysis skills

  • Full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential
