We're excited to be working with a successful and expanding environmental consultancy seeking a motivated Air Quality Consultant to join their growing team in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of experience in air quality, emissions assessment, or environmental compliance who's ready to take the next step in their career and develop within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

As an Air Quality Consultant, you'll contribute to a wide variety of projects across infrastructure, transport, and urban development, working closely with experienced colleagues to enhance your technical expertise and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake air quality and emissions assessments to support planning applications and regulatory compliance

  • Use dispersion modelling software (e.g., ADMS, AERMOD)

  • Produce high-quality technical reports for clients and planning authorities

  • Assist with data collection, air quality monitoring, and analysis

  • Support senior consultants with client communication and project coordination



About You

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Chemistry, or a related discipline

  • 1-2 years' experience in air quality or environmental consultancy

  • Knowledge of IAQM/EPUK guidance and air dispersion modelling tools

  • Strong written communication and data analysis skills

  • Full UK driving licence beneficial but not essential
