Job Title: Tenant Find - Team CoordinatorLocation: Brighton (office-based)Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annumHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Coordinator to lead and support our Tenant Find function within a busy Brighton lettings office. Supporting a high-performing lettings team, you will be responsible for day-to-day team leadership, operational support and driving continuous improvement across the department. This is a hands-on leadership role, well suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in tenant find or lettings. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing team members, supporting operational delivery and ensuring a consistently high standard of service is delivered to landlords and tenants. Key Responsibilities Operational Support (approx. 40%)
  • Handle complex or escalated tenancy and lettings cases
  • Resolve operational bottlenecks and provide support during busy periods
  • Conduct second-eye reviews and offer direct support to team members where required
Team Management & People Development (approx. 40%)
  • Line manage 2-3 Lettings Negotiators (scaling up to 5-7 within 3-6 months)
  • Deliver onboarding, ongoing training and regulatory/product updates
  • Carry out regular performance reviews, coaching and development sessions
  • Promote a positive, high-performance culture and ensure consistent service delivery
Process & Continuous Improvement (approx. 20%)
  • Contribute to wider Central Operations process improvements
  • Review and update training materials, workflows and documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and consistency
  • Analyse team metrics and KPIs to drive performance and quality improvements
Person Specification
  • 3-5+ years of team management experience within residential lettings (UK market essential), with a focus on tenant find
  • Previous hands-on experience as a Lettings Negotiator or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of UK lettings regulations and compliance
  • Proven capability in building and managing small teams
  • Adaptable, tech-confident and used to working in fast-paced/scale-up style environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (written and verbal)
  • Process-driven mindset, with the ability to identify and implement operational improvements
