Our successful family-owned property client based near to Burgess Hill, have a portfolio of 89 flats in the Brighton, Hove and Rochester area and are now looking for a part time property administrator to assist the Head of Property Management.

The salary is £18,720 per annum (equivalent to £18.00 an hour) for 4 days 9am / 9.30am to 3.00/3.30pm Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri.  There will be occasions to work to cover holidays or extra hours but not often.  Any extra hours would be paid.  The holiday entitlement is 20 days plus bank holidays.  Pension scheme. Plenty of parking in this rural setting.

 The company own and manage the properties, which means they do everything from contract to check out and everything in between.  The person filling this role will learn every aspect of managing property from maintenance to refurbishments, HMO licencing, liaising with tenants, contractors and Estate Agents so attention to detail is key along with a friendly personality and confidence.  The person will be helping to manage all the relationships alongside the Head of Property Management and will of course be supported in the role and trained.  The job will take you to the properties quite often in the month to meet contractors for alarms or check ins or meters etc.  They use apple mac computers with the usual office outlook, excel word. 

Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.

Whilst this is currently an administrator role there is future opportunity to grow the role and the hours if the suits the applicant and the business.  As a business we are always open to new ideas and welcome initiative.
