I have the pleasure of partnering with a growing company based in Bristol as they seek a dedicated and meticulous Commercial Accountant to join their Finance department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background within a financial reporting, budgeting and analytical setting, with a strong commercial mindset to help promote the growth of the commercial side of the business.

Description
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports and statements, variance analysis and management accounts
- Support and perform audits to ensure compliance with regulations
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies
- Lead budgeting, financial training and financial planning processes, ensuring that non-financial stakeholders understand financial decision-making
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to the management team
- Provide commercial and financial insights and analysis to senior management, developing strong relationships with operational teams
- Line manage a small team, supporting their continuous development
- Report into the Head of Finance and deputise when needed
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information
- Maintain and update financial records in accordance with company policies
Profile
A successful Commercial Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
- Understanding of statutory reporting requirements
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently and part of a team
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of financial regulations and procedures
Job Offer
- A competitive salary range of £45,000 - £52,000 per annum
