- Support the Director of Workforce and Head of HR with budget preparation, monitoring, and financial analysis to meet strategic and reporting deadlines.
- Coordinate and contribute to HR-related projects (e.g. ICT rollouts, facility moves) and ensure procurement contract compliance through performance monitoring.
- Manage and maintain HR data systems, including spreadsheets and databases, to produce accurate reports and compliance documentation.
- Provide guidance and resolve escalated issues for internal/external stakeholders, including contract resolutions and financial queries.
- Line manage the HR Support Assistant while ensuring adherence to HR policies, income processes, and relevant legislation.
- Experience in financial monitoring and budget coordination, ideally within a public sector or HR environment.
- Strong data and systems skills, including the ability to manipulate spreadsheets, databases, and produce accurate financial and compliance reports.
- Project and stakeholder management experience, including supporting service delivery projects and ensuring procurement compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and advisory skills, with the ability to handle escalated issues and provide sound guidance to internal and external clients.
- Supervisory or line management experience, with the ability to support and develop junior staff while ensuring compliance with HR and financial policies.
